Mr Ravi Singh‑Ranger — Co‑Founder and Director
Mr Ravi Singh‑Ranger is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, co‑founder of The Vein Clinic, and a nationally recognised expert in minimally invasive varicose vein care. He holds a substantive NHS appointment at The Great Western Hospital in Wiltshire and is listed on the GMC Specialist Register for General and Vascular Surgery.
In 2002, Mr Singh‑Ranger was invited to assess a new laser‑based treatment for varicose veins requiring only local anaesthetic. The exceptional results led him to pioneer one of the UK’s first dedicated vein‑care services. He was among the earliest surgeons to perform endovenous laser therapy (EVLT) and the VNUS closureFAST procedure, and now performs over 500 minimally invasive vein cases annually.
His practice, The Vein Clinic (Wiltshire & Gloucestershire), is recognised as a National Centre of Excellence by leading medical device companies and is one of the busiest clinics in the UK — NHS and private — devoted exclusively to keyhole vein treatments.
Mr Singh‑Ranger is regularly invited to teach and mentor doctors nationally and internationally. Clinicians travel from across the UK and abroad to learn his advanced techniques. His commitment to education and standards has also been recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, who appointed him as an examiner — a role reserved for surgeons with exceptional expertise and professional standing.
